Sorry for not updating this recently! I've been quite preoccupied with academic responsibilities. It's rather sad how work can lead to rejection of artistic expression and mental liberation.
I've been reading a lot of Virginia Woolf lately. Woolf's work is strangely fascinating... her words are captivating. They add a vibrancy to the mundane aspects of life that are often overlooked. One often tends to paint the canvas of their life with monochrome colours, succumbing to the inevitable pessimism present in the universe. Life is beautiful. There is a beauty in breathing, seeing and being. All you have to do is open your eyes (well, unless you haven't been to Specsavers). Dip your paint brush into the blue paint. Dip your paintbrush into the red paint. Dip your paintbrush into the purple paint. Dare to use a polychrome spectrum to paint your life. There is an enthralling symphony underlying the narrative of our lives which we often fail to hear, notes occasionally floating to us in rhythmic inconsistencies. Woolf's words have helped me to hear my orchestra. Now I want to create a paper earth, paint the world with words and give meaning to everything.
